Hurricanes and Storm Damage

In September 2008, Hurricane Ike passed through Cincinnati and left unparalleled storm damage to the trees.  Our crew worked tirelessly to give our signature quality service to all our customers, who waited patiently for our arrival!

After strong winds and storms, trees (like the one in this picture) bear friction failures that cause the entire root system to lift from the ground as the tree leans over.

It seems more frequently, Cincinnati is suffering through severe winter ice storms that wreak havoc on our trees.  Storms like these cause not only immediate problems, but long term troubles as well.  The after effects of the ice leave some trees lifeless and others in desparate need of removing "hangers" and deadwooding.

 Drought
Another deadly preditor to trees is simply drought.  Water your trees if you want to keep them from drying up!  Many trees have been lost recently due to drought.  Even if this doesn't swho up within a few months, it could show up from 6-12 months when you end up with a dead tree that must be removed.  Save your trees - water them!
